I spend way too much money, time, effort, heartache, physical and emotional pain, sleepless nights, frustration, hopelessness, despair, blood, sweat and tears to keep re-introducing toxins into my body knowingly, on purpose.
I felt so bad as a foodie, removing all my foods which were like a couple thousand or more dollars of flavorings, spices, you name it! But, I honestly have spent thousands more just trying to heal all these diseases. I had to let go of them in layers.
What's them?
Everything, from food, to body products, to cleaning products, toxic relationships, to toxic mindset.
Big chunks at a time each time I was ready to release more and more slowly. It’s like being stagnant, then making big frog leaps forward, or quantum leaps into my desired future results. It’s not worth it anymore to slide back into the toxic lifestyle once I’ve adopted a more longevity and wellness lifestyle. Not worth the headaches, the failed attempts to improve, not worth all the pain, physical and emotional.
Is there always more to release in my home, in my lifestyle? Yes, but little by little. I can’t do it 100%, otherwise there would be no infracture left to operate with as my body or in my house!
Instead of taking on a lack perspective, I ask myself what am I gaining? Dire urgencies of wanting to keep my faculties, my independent use of my physical motor skills, and daily living activities are so basic. I want to be able to wipe my own ass, dammit! But we take them for granted once the threat of losing them are presented.
Unfortunately it takes loss, tradgedy, terminal illness, fear, or death, to really push ourselves to commit with a full body YES.
If you’re not there, it’s okay. I haven't been for a long time, anywhere fluctuating between 25 to 75% prior. Whatever your transformational pivot point in your life, whether it be you need to live for your children, or whatever else, sometimes we just need that to push us over the edge. A lot of times it is easier to do it for someone else outside of ourselves, than it is to change for ourselves alone. What is your why? What is your purpose?
